‘I’m really proud to see that this young writing team, Hedger and Nicholson, graduates from WAAPA, have set up a site called HomeGrownAus. Basically it’s like the new musical theatre website they have in the States; really young emerging writers who have published their works for the first time and people get to purchase them and sing them. They’ve set up an Australian equivalent and that’s really as a result of the need out there to have this music accessible to every teacher everywhere,’ said Torbay.
