This website, homegrownaus.com, is operated by Home Grown Musicals (AUS) Ltd, ABN 12 606 130 045 (Home Grown, we, us). These terms explain the use of our public website and its content. Contact us at homegrown@homegrownaus.com.

These terms do not replace artist agreements, programme participation agreements or terms for our Store Operations app. Digital sheet music, backing tracks and bundles are covered by our Purchases and Refunds Policy and any licence information provided with the product.

Using the website

Please use the website lawfully and respectfully. Do not:

Interfere with its security or operation, introduce harmful code, or attempt to access information or systems without permission.
Use our forms to send spam, impersonate another person or submit unlawful, threatening or harassing material.
Use content in a way that infringes another person's copyright, privacy or other rights.

We may take proportionate steps to address misuse, including restricting access where reasonably necessary to protect people or the website.

Copyright and creative rights

Our website brings together work by writers, composers, lyricists, performers, photographers, filmmakers, designers and other contributors. Copyright and other rights belong to their respective owners. Publication on this website does not mean that Home Grown owns every work or can authorise every use.

You may view the website and share links to its pages. Except where permitted by law or an express licence, reproducing, adapting, distributing, selling or republishing protected content requires permission from the relevant rights holder. A credit alone does not replace permission.

Please respect creators' and performers' rights, including applicable attribution and moral rights. Access to sheet music or a recording does not itself grant permission to stage, record, broadcast or otherwise exploit the work.

Applications and submissions

Submitting an application, script, song, recording or other creative material does not transfer ownership to Home Grown or automatically grant us a broad promotional licence. Creators retain their rights.

Any permissions needed to assess an application or participate in a programme will be explained in the relevant application or programme terms. Performance, recording, publication and promotional permissions must be addressed separately where required. An application does not guarantee selection.

Information and external services

We aim to keep website information accurate, but errors can occur and event or programme details may change. Check the relevant event, application or booking page for current details.

The website may embed video and link to ticketing, donation and other external services. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Check who supplies the service and the applicable terms before completing a transaction. Using an external provider does not remove any responsibility Home Grown has under applicable law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Visiting the website or accepting these terms does not, by itself, subscribe you to our newsletter or provide consent for unrelated uses of your information.

Your legal rights and updates

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

We may update these terms as the website changes. The date above identifies the current version. Updates apply to future website use and do not retrospectively change completed purchases or existing agreements.
